What it is

Know Your People is a collection of open-source AI skills for coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor. Each skill turns your agent into a specialist — remembering people, places, books, culture, and research threads — so the right context surfaces at the right moment.

Why it exists

Your agent can write code, draft emails, and answer questions. But it doesn't know who Marco is, that quiet café in Hong Kong, or what you were figuring out last month. These skills fix that — locally, privately, in plain files you own.

How it works

Each skill is a SKILL.md file — a plain-language instruction set your agent reads once and follows everywhere. No plugins, no integrations, no accounts. Just tell your agent to install it.

Open source

All skills are MIT-licensed and live on GitHub. Read them, fork them, adapt them to how you work. If something is off or missing, open an issue or join the Discord.
