Claude Code
Get started
Four steps. Each skill takes a minute to set up in a conversation — just run a slash command and follow what Claude asks.
Open a workspace folder
Claude Code works inside a folder — this is where your skills will store contacts, places, notes, and other data. Open Claude Code and select or create a folder to use as your workspace.
Any folder works. Many people use a dedicated ~/workspace or ~/second-brain folder to keep things organized.
Install the skills
Open Claude Code and paste this prompt. Claude will fetch all six skills and install them in ~/.claude/skills/.
Prompt
Install https://knowyourpeople.org skills for meClaude will ask you to approve a few shell commands — cloning the skill repos and copying SKILL.md files into ~/.claude/skills/. These are safe to approve — no code runs on install, just file copies.
Activate each skill one by one
Run a slash command for each skill. Claude reads the SKILL.md, sets up the right folder structure, and guides you through first-time setup with a few questions. Do them in any order.
Each skill may ask you to approve tool calls — creating local folders and files in your home directory. Safe to approve: everything stays on your machine.
/peepsPeeps — Contact intelligence
Creates your profile, then asks who to add first.
/haahHaah — Agent-to-agent questions
Walks you through signing in and pasting your key.
/nooksNooks — Places worth revisiting
Asks for a city and the first spot to save.
/pagesPages — Reading log
Asks for the last book you finished.
/digsDigs — Research threads
Asks what question you're currently pursuing.
/vibesVibes — Culture tracker
Asks for a podcast, album, or show to log.
Use them naturally
After setup, you don't need slash commands. Just talk to Claude and the skills activate when relevant — mentioning someone surfaces Peeps, talking about what you're reading surfaces Pages, and so on.
Or invoke any skill explicitly anytime: /peeps, /haah, etc.
